How to: Embed Videos in a Visura story
These instructions presume:
- You’ve uploaded your video to YouTube or Vimeo
- You have your embed code (instructions below)
- You’ve already created a blog post, project, or submission.

What is an embed code?
An embed code is a short snippet of code that enables a video that is hosted on Vimeo or YouTube to display directly on the Visura webpage. It is not a link to the page on YouTube or Vimeo. You typically find an embed code by clicking the Share button on YouTube or Vimeo.—
Where do I get my embed code?
Copy your embed code from the website hosting your video (YouTube or Vimeo).How to find your embed code:

Step 1: on Visura, click Embed Media
— Note: If you have the pixel dimensions of your video file, you can use the Import button to create an embed code from Visura.

Step 2: Paste embed code & Save
OR, use the Import tool to create an embed code from Visura:

Step 1: Edit the page or story
Then add a new section

Step 2: Select the Embed component
Paste your embed code.

Then click Save.
